Opening Show for 2012 Calendar 'Persectives of Newton Farm'

Exhibition: "Perspectives of Newton Farm"
Opening Reception: March 24, 2012, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Closing Date:
April 28, 2012

This
opening show is very special for me. This is where I grew up, just a couple doors down from the Newtons. Lots of great memories on the farm haying, at the pond and in the woods. It was a great place to be a kid!

VanOver Fine Arts is pleased to host an exhibition featuring photographs by residents of Fox Run at Orchard Park, a senior living facility. Led by professional photographer Katie Schneider, the residents embarked on a "photo safari" at Newton Farm near Chestnut Ridge Park, the property of Fox Run residents Frank and Rosetta Newton. Schneider commented that the trip was as exciting for her as it was for the artists. "Seeing beauty through so many eyes, it's really amazing," she added. The exhibition, which will commence a second season at VanOver Fine Arts, opens with a reception on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
