2013 VFA Show Schedule
MARCH 2013
MARCH 2013
I'm very proud to start our 2013 schedule with this long over do show!
Saturday March 9th - "Through My Eyes" Photographs By Richard G. Van Over
Richard was a photographer in the US Navy from 1955-1986, he had the chance to travel the world and capture on film what he saw on his travels. Richard was stationed in Atsugi Navel Air Station, Japan in 1958. Most of his photographs were shot on 35mm slide film. Thanks to modern technology, Dad and I have been worked together on archiving his many photographs, this is the first time his slide images have been printed as actual photographic prints.
Also on March 9th in VFA's B-Side Gallery - New Photographs by local photographer Robin Frey.

JULY 2013
Saturday July 13th - "Expressions in Realism" painting and sculpture by Dean Vigyikan. You may remember some of Dean's work in our Holiday show in December. Dean is a representational artist, However, believing that all of art essentially requires the artist’s interpretation of nature to some degree, he is more than happy to take liberties with brush and clay in order to achieve the emotional and spiritual dimensions of his subjects.
"Los Lobos" - Acrylic - 16"x 20" |
SEPTEMBER 2013
Saturday September 7th - "Fractured Imminence" works by Mark Bryce. Mark is a very talented up and coming local artist. His use of line and minimal color, create a perspective unique in each piece of work, that draws you in.
